The most stunning gals on the red carpet included: Best Supporting Actress nominee Anna Kendrick, in a flowing pink Eli Saab; Sandra Bullock, in a skin-tight gold dress by Marchesa; Penelope Cruz, in a deep red Donna Karan; Elizabeth Banks, in a tight-fitting purple Versace; Rachel McAdams, in a floral Eli Saab (her hair and makeup was another story) and Best Actress nominee Gabourey Sidibe, in a blue Marchesa gown with crystals that flattered her plus sized figure.
